Base areas (catchment areas) HADES
The base areas form the lowest layer of the system of catchment areas that describe Switzerland’s hydrographical structure (Hydrological Atlas of Switzerland, HADES). As many uniform areas as possible (30-50km²) are combined on this level due to the nature of the natural features.
