Die vorliegende Zonierung (Stand: August 2000) wird mit der Zeit durch die Feinzonierung ergänzt.Moorlandschafts-, Kultur- und Naturlehrpfade der UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch. Die Lehrpfade der UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch dienen zur Orientierung von Interessierten in z.B. Broschüren der UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch.Kurz erklärt: UNESCO Biosphäre EntlebuchDas Entlebuch ist seit 2001 neben dem Schweizer Nationalpark das zweite UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat der Schweiz, jedoch das einzige nach den Sevilla-Kriterien der UNESCO von 1995. Es ist das erste Biosphärenreservat weltweit, das durch eine Volksabstimmung und unter partizipativer und kooperativer Mitwirkung der lokalen Bevölkerung begründet wurde. Seit 2008 ist die UBE zusätzlich Regionaler Naturpark von nationaler Bedeutung gemäss Pärkeverordnung der Schweiz.Die Trägerschaft für das UNESCO Biosphärenreservat Entlebuch bildet der Gemeindeverband UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch. Zweck eines Biosphärenreservats ist es, eine nachhaltige Entwicklung in ökologischer, ökonomischer und sozialer Hinsicht zu realisieren.
