NGA-mapping: Visual representation of high-speed broadband coverage in Switzerland
Politische Entscheidungsträger auf Gemeinde-, Kantons- und Bundesebene sollen Entscheidungshilfen im Bereich schnelles Internet ("Hochbreitband" oder "Next Generation Access")
sowie eine bessere Übersicht über die Technologien zur Versorgung der Schweiz mit modernen Telekommunikations-netzen erhalten. Zu diesem Zweck hat das Bundesamt für Kommunikation (BAKOM) eine Arbeits-gruppe mit Vertreterinnen und Vertretern aus der Wirtschaft und Verwaltung ins Leben gerufen (siehe [1]). Im August 2011 sind die drei Mandate verteilt worden, die eine Gesamtschau der künftigen Situa-tion zur Versorgung der Schweiz mit modernen. Diese sind:
• NGA-Mapping zwecks visueller Darstellung der Versorgungssituation mit Hochbreitbanddiens-ten in der Schweiz
• Nachfrageerhebung, welche Telecomdienste heute notwendig sind
• NGA-Leitfaden für politische Behörden, welche auf eine optimale Versorgung der Schweiz mit Hochbreitbandanschlüssen zielen.
