Es wurde die Wahrscheinlichkeit für die Gefährdungsstufen 2 und 3 berechnet. Die Gefährdungsstufe setzt sich aus den Faktoren Gründigkeit und Abtragsrate (> Universelle Bodenabtragsgleichung) zusammen. Dabei gilt folgender Grundsatz: Bei tiefgründigen Böden wirkt sich bei gleich bleibender Anbaumethode die Boden-Abtragsrate weniger aus als bei flachgründigen. Aus der Kombination von Gründigkeit und Abtragsrate ergibt sich die Gefährdung der Bodenfruchtbarkeit. Die Werte 2 bzw. 3 bedeuten: 2: Bodenfruchtbarkeit gefährdet (> Schutzmassnahmen notwendig) 3: Bodenfruchtbarkeit akut gefährdet (> Schutzmassnahmen sehr dringlich) Mindestbezugsfläche ist dabei 500 m2.
