Die Daten der amtlichen Vermessung im Kanton Luzern sind auf einem heterogenen Stand. Während einige Gemeinden bereits den höchsten technischen Qualitätsstandard AV93 erfüllen, liegen andere Gemeinden noch im Standard provisorisch numerisiert PN vor, d.h. digitalisiert ab den analogen Grundbuchplänen. Mittels Erneuerungen werden sämtliche Bestandteile der amtlichen Vermessung in den Standard AV93 aufgearbeitet. Dabei werden die Fixpunkte als Grundlage für die weiteren Arbeitsgänge neu gemessen und gerechnet, anschliessend die weiteren Informationsebenen wie Liegenschaften, Bodenbedeckung etc.Der Fahrplan sieht vor, dass bis 2028 der ganze Kanton im Qualitätsstandard AV93 vorliegt.
