Vektorstadtplan

Der **Vektorstadtplan** ist ein *vektorbasiertes Kartenwerk*, das präzise und skalierbare Darstellungen urbaner Gebiete bietet. Diese Art von Stadtplan ermöglicht es, verschiedene geografische Informationen in hoher Auflösung darzustellen, wodurch Details wie Strassen, Gebäude und andere Infrastrukturen klar erkennbar sind.

Durch die Verwendung von Vektordaten können Benutzer den Stadtplan ohne Qualitätsverlust vergrössern oder verkleinern. Dies macht den Vektorstadtplan besonders nützlich für Anwendungen in der Stadtplanung, Navigation und in Geoinformationssystemen (GIS). Die Flexibilität und Genauigkeit der Vektordaten ermöglichen eine effiziente Analyse und Visualisierung von städtischen Strukturen und deren Beziehungen zueinander.

Bei den Vektordaten des offiziellen Stadtplans handelt es sich um veredelte Originaldaten des kartografischen Produktionssystems.

**Aufgrund des Massstabsbereiches, in dem der Vektorstadtplan eingesetzt wird, sind alle Daten generalisiert. Sie entsprechen somit nur annäherungsweise der tatsächlichen Lage und dem tatsächlichen Aussehen. Dabei gilt, je kleiner der Massstab, desto stärker die Generalisierung.**
