1) Forêts à fonction protectrice - SilvaProtect
Cette classe délimite les forêts à fonction protectrice dans le canton de Fribourg. Cette délimitation a été réalisée selon la démarche SilvaProtect ; elle précise ainsi, pour chaque polygone de forêt protectrice, quel processus de danger naturel prioritaire est en jeu.
2) Intérêt public de la fonction de protection des forêts
Le canton de fribourg dispose d’environ 17 500 ha de forêts protectrices qui jouent un rôle de protection pour des biens notables, la présence seule d’un danger naturel n’étant pas le seul critère. Ces forêts protectrices ont été réparties plus en détail en cinq classes en évaluant l’intérêt public variable de la fonction de protection. Les trois aspects utilisés dans cette classification sont :
- le processus naturel contre lequel la forêt agit ;
- l’ampleur du risque pour les enjeux protégés ;
- la distance entre la forêt protectrice et les enjeux protégés.
