Historischer Quellenatlas 1904 - 1912
Der Historische Quellenatlas 1912 des Kantons Thurgau ist ein Projekt der Thurgauischen Naturforschenden Gesellschaft und des Kantons Thurgau. Die Leitung oblag dem Ermatinger Sekundarlehrer Jakob Engeli (geb. 12. Januar 1844, gest. 21. September 1923).
Mit der Bestandesaufnahme in den Ortsgemeinden wurden die Thurgauer Sekundarlehrer betraut. Zwischen August 1904 und November 1911 wurde jede Quelle in einem Quellenheft detailliert beschrieben. Gleichzeitig wurde ihre Lage auf dem entsprechenden Blatt der Siegfriedkarte eingetragen und fortlaufend nummeriert, wobei ein roter Punkt in schwarzem Doppelkreis für eine gefasste Quelle, ein roter Punkt in schwarzem Kreis für eine ungefasste Quelle und ein gelber Punkt für einen Sodbrunnen stand.
Das Amt für Umweltschutz und Wasserwirtschaft liess 1984 Xerox-Farbkopien aller 29 Blätter herstellen.
