Exposition au bruit trafic ferroviaire durant la nuit en Valais. Les indications s'appuient sur un relevé effectué à l'échelle nationale. Ainsi, des données sur l'exposition au bruit le long de quelque 3 000 km de voies ferrées ont été prises en compte et extrapolées à l'ensemble du territoire. Ces données n'ont pas force de loi. Les charges sonores et données d'assainissement officielles sont fournies par l'autorité d'exécution en charge (l'Office fédéral des transports OFT).
