Topographical catchment areas of Swiss waterbodies 40 km²
The "40 km² catchment areas" data set is one of four possible aggregation levels for the "Topographical catchment areas of Swiss waterbodies" geodata set. It consists of a comprehensive mosaic of some 1200 topographically defined sub-catchment areas. These are, wherever possible, coordinated with the base areas of the Hydrological Map of Switzerland (HADES).

Der Datenbestand wurde aus dem auf 10x10m aggregierten dtm-av und dem ASTER GDEM abgeleitet. Die Höhenmodelle wurden mit dem Ansatz des streamburning vorprozessiert.
