Au vu de l’importance touristique du site, les mesures adéquates (infrastructures d’accueil, parking, etc.) doivent être prises afin de favoriser un accès de qualité au site pour les visiteurs, dans le respect de ses buts de protection. Cela est planifié dans un plan spécial cantonal "Etang de la Gruère"
