Schutzbautenkataster (Naturgefahren) (UR)

Die Schutzbauteninfrastruktur gegen Naturgefahren ist in der Schweiz essenziell für die Besiedlung und Bewirtschaftung des Raumes. Gemäss Art. 2 WBG1 und Art. 19 WaG2 ist der Schutz vor Naturgefahren Aufgabe („operationelle Verantwortung“) der Kantone. Der Bund ist mit der Aufsicht („strategischen Führung“) betraut und subventioniert die Kantone bei der Durchführung von Massnahmen, die zum Schutz vor Naturgefahren dienen, insbesondere auch der Errichtung sowie Instandstellung von Schutzbauten (Art. 6 Abs. 2 Bst. a WBG und Art. 36 Abs. 1 Bst. a WaG). Im Kanton Uri werden die Schutzbauten durch das Amt für Tiefbau Abteilung Wasserbau und das Amt für Forst und Jagd Abteilung Naturgefahren verwaltet.
