Markierversuche sind ein gängiges Mittel der angewandten Hydrogeologie zur Verfolgung des Wasserflusses im Untergrund. Der Layer zeigt die Eingabestellen aller seit 1984 bei InfoTracer gemeldeten und archivierten Markierversuche. InfoTracer ist das Instrument des BAFU zur Koordination zwischen denjenigen Stellen, die Markierversuche durchführen (in der Regel Geologie- und Ingenieurbüros sowie Forschungsinstitute) und den kantonalen Fachstellen. Die im Layer dargestellten Informationen liefern einerseits einen generellen Überblick der bisher durchgeführten Markierversuche und ermöglichen andererseits die Überprüfung des Bereichs geplanter Versuche. Markierstoffe werden direkt ins Grundwasser, in die ungesättigte Zone oder ein Oberflächengewässer, welche mit dem Grundwasser in Verbindung stehen kann, eingegeben. Insbesondere um unnötige Eingaben von Markierstoffen sowie Überschneidungen unterschiedlicher Eingaben zu vermeiden, erfasst InfoTracer auch die Metadaten der Markierversuche (Datum, Eingabemilieu, verwendeter Markierstoff, verantwortliche Stelle), verfügt jedoch über keine Angaben zu deren Ergebnissen.

Les essais de traçage sont l’une des principales techniques utilisée en hydrogéologie appliquée pour marquer l’eau et suivre son déplacement. La couche montre les points d’injection de traçages répertoriés dans la base de données InfoTracer depuis 1984. InfoTracer est l’outil de l’OFEV permettant la coordination d’informations entre les agents qui réalisent les essais de traçage, habituellement des bureaux privés ou des instituts de recherche, et les cantons. Les informations de cette couche offrent une vue d’ensemble des traçages effectués dans le passé ainsi qu’une connaissance du périmètre concerné pour de nouvelles injections. Des traceurs sont généralement injectés dans les eaux souterraines, dans la zone non saturée ou dans les eaux de surface avec lien possible avec les eaux souterraines. InfoTracer comprend en outre des métadonnées des essais de traçage (date, milieu d'injection, traceur utilisé, service responsable) afin notamment d'éviter toute injection inutile de traceurs ou de prévenir des interférences entre différents traçages. Les résultats des essais de traçage ne sont toutefois pas archivés.

Lo strato mostra i punti di iniezione dei traccianti repertoriati dal 1984 nella banca dati InfoTracer. InfoTracer è lo strumento dell’UFAM che permette di coordinare le informazioni tra gli attori che realizzano le prove con traccianti, solitamente ditte private o istituti di ricerca, e i Cantoni. Queste informazioni offrono una panoramica dei tracciamenti effettuati in passato come pure delle conoscenze sul sito in questione al fine. In generale i traccianti sono iniettati nelle acque sotterranee nella zona non satura o nelle acque di superficie che hanno un legame diretto con le acque superficiali. InfoTracer comprende inoltre metadati relativi alle prove con traccianti (data, luogo e ambiente di iniezione, servizio responsabile) cosicché si possa evitare iniezioni inutili di traccianti o prevenire interferenze tra le varie prove di tracciamento. Tuttavia i risultati delle prove con traccianti non vengono archiviati.

Tracer tests are one of the main techniques used in applied hydrogeology to track the movement of water. The layer displays the injection points of tracer tests that have been recorded in the InfoTracer database since 1984. InfoTracer is the FOEN’s tool for coordinating information between institutions which perform tracer tests, usually private consultancies or research institutes, and the environmental agencies of the cantons. This layer provides an overview of past tracer tests as well as information about the perimeter for new injections. Tracers are generally injected directly into groundwater, into the unsaturated zone or into surface waters which potentially interact with groundwater. In order to avoid repetition and unnecessary injection of tracers, respectively, as well as to prevent interference between different simultaneous tracer experiments InfoTracer also includes tracer test metadata (date, injection point and setting, tracer type used, institution responsible), however does not archive their results.
