Das Thema «Vegetationshöhenstufen» stellt die Klassierung der Vegetationshöhenstufen im Kanton Bern für die Gegenwart und Zukunft flächig dar. Die Klassierung der Vegetationshöhenstufen wurde von der Karte «Vegetationshöhenstufen Schweiz» (Zischg et al. 2021) übernommen und mithilfe von Expertenwissen und Felderhebungen den lokalen Gegebenheiten angepasst.
