SwissNames is a detailed and complete database of geographical names in Switzerland, based on content of the swiss National Map 1:25'000. Coordinates X and Y are attributed to the main focus of each object name as well as further information such as the name and number of the municipality and the abbreviation of the canton. Certain object names also include the height.
