Die Karte beinhaltet die Mietwertkategorien des Kantons Bern pro Gemeinde resp. Gemeindekreise. Die Mietwertkategorie stellt das durchschnittliche Mietzinsniveau einer Gemeinde, resp. eines Gemeindekreises im Vergleich mit den übrigen Gemeinden, resp. Gemeindekreise im Kanton Bern dar. Die Mietwertkategorien sind eine wesentliche Grundlage bei der Festlegung von amtlichen Werten (Vermögenssteuerwerte) und Eigenmietwerten (Einkommenssteuerwerte) im Kanton Bern.
