Raumbedarf der Gewässer
Das Modell bildet den behördenverbindlichen Raumbedarf der Fliessgewässer und stehenden Gewässer (> 5000 m²) gemäss kantonalem Gewässerkataster ab. Die behördenverbindliche Festlegung erfolgt als Breiteninformation pro Abschnitt (Liniendatensatz). Der Flächendatensatz hat nur informativen Charakter und ist nicht behördenverbindlich. Eine wichtige Grundlage für den Raumbedarf der Gewässer ist die okomorphologische Kartierung der Fliessgewässer (Sohlenbreite und Breitenvariabilität). In Gebieten gemäss Art. 41a Abs. 1 GSchV wurde der behördenverbindliche Raumbedarf gemäss Biodiversitätskurve bestimmt.
Im Rahmen des Konzepts Thur+ wurde der behördenverbindliche Raumbedarf der Thur im Kanton Thurgau festgelegt.
