Die GIS-ZH-Gemeindegrenzen werden aus den Grenzen der amtlichen Vermessung (GIS-ZH Nr. 405) aufbereitet. Die Benutzerversionen sind topologisch bereinigt, Kreisbögen sind aufgelöst, und Gemeindegrenzen an Seeufern orientieren sich an den Uferlinien.
