Um Informationen zum aktuellen Wetterverlauf entlang der Schweizer Hauptflugrouten zu erhalten, betreibt MeteoSchweiz rund 35 Wetterkameras. Die Kameras dienen der Wetterüberwachung vor allem entlang der Hauptflugrouten. Blickwinkel und Standorte der Kameras sind speziell auf die Wetterbeobachtung ausgerichtet und geben Einblick in die Geländekammern und Passübergänge, die für den Flugverkehr wesentlich sind. Die Kameras speichern alle 10 Minuten ein Panoramabild. Ab dem Jahr 2021 hat MeteoSchweiz ihr Kameranetz sukzessive mit neuer Kameratechnologie umgerüstet. Diese neuen Kameras erlauben eine 4k Panorama-Bildauflösung mit bis zu 100 Megapixeln und eine ausgezeichnete Nachtsicht. Dies erleichtert die lückenlose Flugwetterbeobachtung und ermöglicht exakte Prognosen.

Afin d'obtenir des informations sur l'évolution actuelle du temps le long des principales routes aériennes suisses, MétéoSuisse exploite environ 35 caméras météorologiques. Les caméras servent à la surveillance météorologique, en particulier le long des principales routes aériennes. Les angles de vue et les emplacements des caméras sont spécialement conçus pour l'observation météorologique et donnent un aperçu des crêtes et des passages de cols qui sont critiques pour la navigation aérienne. Les caméras enregistrent une image panoramique toutes les dix minutes. À partir de 2021, MétéoSuisse a progressivement rééquipé son réseau de caméras avec une nouvelle technologie de caméras. Ces nouvelles caméras permettent une résolution d'image panoramique 4k avec jusqu'à 100 mégapixels et une excellente vision nocturne. Cela facilite l'observation sans faille de la météo aéronautique et permet d'établir des prévisions exactes.

Per disporre di informazioni sull’attuale situazione meteorologica lungo le principali rotte di volo svizzere, MeteoSvizzera dispone una trentina di telecamere panoramiche meteorologiche. Le telecamere consentono di sorvegliare la situazione meteorologica soprattutto lungo le principali rotte di volo. L’angolazione della visuale e la posizione delle telecamere devono consentire l’osservazione di quanto avviene nell’atmosfera nelle vallate e sui passi alpini, in particolare nelle zone rilevanti per il traffico aereo. Ogni dieci minuti le telecamere salvano un’immagine panoramica. A partire dal 2021 MeteoSvizzera ha rinnovato successivamente le varie telecamere introducendo una nuova, moderna, tecnologia. Le nuove telecamere permettono la ripresa di immagini panoramiche in risoluzione 4k, fino a 100 megapixel, con ottima qualità anche di notte. Ciò permette un’osservazione continua dell’evoluzione meteorologica e contribuisce a elaborare affidabili previsioni per il mondo dell’aviazione.

In order to obtain information on the current weather conditions along Switzerland's main flight paths, MeteoSwiss operates around 35 weather cameras. The cameras primarily serve to monitor the weather along the main flight paths. The angle and location of the cameras are set specifically for the purpose of monitoring weather conditions, and provide an insight into the terrain and mountain passes that are key for air traffic. The cameras save a panoramic image every ten minutes. Since 2021, MeteoSwiss has been successively upgrading its camera network with the latest camera technology. These new cameras allow 4K panoramic images to be taken with a resolution of up to 100 megapixels, and produce outstanding night-mode images. This makes it easier for meteorologists to monitor aviation weather on a continuous basis and provide precise forecasts.
