Info Flora ist eine gemeinnützige, privatrechtliche Stiftung zur Dokumentation und Förderung der Wildpflanzen in der Schweiz. Info Flora unterstützt das Bundesamt für Umwelt BAFU bei der Umsetzung der Massnahmen der nationalen Strategie zu invasiven gebietsfremden Arten.Sie bietet mit der InvasivApp die Möglichkeit Neophyten zu erfassen. Diese Erfassungen bilden die Grundlage des Datensatzes. Die Daten werden per Schnittstelle automatisiert von Info Flora bezogen. Der Datensatz dient dem Management und der Kontrolle der Ausbreitung der Neophyten. Der Datensatz ermöglicht zudem eine Früherkennung für sich schnell ausbreitende Pflanzen und kann somit Grundlage für Präventionsmassnahmen sein.
