Meyer-Weiss-Atlas
Der «Atlas Suisse» von Johann Rudolf Meyer und Johann Heinrich Weiss, kurz Meyer-Weiss-Atlas genannt, ist das älteste auf graphischer Triangulation beruhende Kartenwerk, das die gesamte Schweiz umfasst. Er entstand in den Jahren 1786 bis 1802. Der Atlas liegt im Massstab 1:120'000, sowie im Massstab 1:500'000 vor. Die Kartenblätter wurden gescannt und georektifiziert. Zudem wurden Farbanpassungen vorgenommen, damit ein einheitliches Bild über das ganze Gebiet der Schweiz entstand.
