Wanderwege
Das Wanderwegnetz des Kantons Zürich wurde aufbauend auf dem regionalen Richtplan digitalisiert. Als Basis für die Digitalisierung dient der Übersichtsplan des Kantons Zürich Massstab 1:2500. Das AFM hat die Nachführung des Netzes an den ZW (Zürcher Wanderwege) vergeben. Die Wanderwegrouten und die Wanderwegsignalisierung wird über die ZW organisiert und ausgeführt. Für den Unterhalt der Wege und Brücken ist grösstenteil das kantonale Tiefbauamt verantwortlich.
Im Datensatz werden die Geometrie mit dem Planungszustand, der Oberfläche und der Katogrie sowie die Wanderwegstandorte und die Wanderwegrouten verwaltet.
Wanderwegrouten und Signalisation werden auf der Applikation Langsamverkehr des Bundes (ASTRA) erfasst. Auf dem GIS Browser des Kantons Zürich wird ein regelmässiger Stand veröffentlicht.
