Schweizerisches Landesforstinventar LFI (Grundlagen)
Zusammen mit anderen Erhebungen bildet das LFI ein nationales Wald-Informationssystem. Es gehört zum Programm "Waldbeobachtung Schweiz" zusammen mit der Langfristigen Waldökosystemforschung LWF, der Sanasilva-Inventur SSI und dem Phytosanitären Beobachtungs und Meldedienst PBMD. Die Erstaufnahme (LFI1) wurde 1983-85 durchgeführt, die zweite Aufnahme erfolgte 1993-95. Die Erhebungen zum LFI3 erfolgten von 2004 bis 2006. Ab 2009 werden die Daten kontinuierlich erhoben.
