Die GeoCover Datensätze V2 (gemäss Datenmodell Geologie der Schweiz standardisiert) basieren auf den Blättern des Geologischen Atlas der Schweiz 1:25 000 und auf Kompilationen aktuellster zur Verfügung stehender geologischen Karten bestmöglicher Qualität. Die originalen Versionen (Datensätze nicht standardisiert) der ausschliesslich auf dem GA25 basierenden Datensätze sind unter «Einteilung Geologischer Atlas 25 Vektor» verfügbar.
