Zone de centre protégée (art. 15 LAT et art. 50/51 LATeC) : Zone de centre avec des objectifs au RCU d’harmonisation des nouvelles constructions et transformations des bâtiments au site construit. Périmètre de protection du site construit (art. 72 LATeC) : Périmètres superposés à une affectation primaire et destinés à la protection des sites construits dignes d'intérêt au titre des biens culturels (p. ex. sites ISOS) Périmètre environnant du site construit protégé (art. 72 LATeC et PDCant) : Périmètre généralement non bâti autour du site construit protégé et superposé à l’affectation (agricole ou zone à bâtir) Abords de bâtiments protégés (art. 72 LATeC, art. 22 LPBC et PDCant) : Mesures particulières de protection autour d’un ou plusieurs bâtiments protégés de catégorie 1 ou 2 en dehors d’un périmètre de protection (très souvent en zone agricole) et pour lequel la LPBC demande de protéger leurs abords. Ces mesures sont liantes pour les tiers. Ce secteur peut également être dénommé au PAL « secteur soumis à mesures d’harmonisation »
