GeoMol - modèle Fribourg
Dans le cadre du projet GeoMol, le Service géologique national (swisstopo) a réalisé en collaboration avec cinq partenaires (dont le canton de Fribourg) un modèle géologique tridimensionnel du Plateau suisse. Des spécialistes ont développé ce modèle permettant de visualiser en trois dimensions la structure géologique de la zone la plus densément peuplée de Suisse. Douze horizons géologiques (ou strates) sont représentés ainsi que les zones de failles les plus importantes du Plateau.
Les données concernent la partie du modèle 3D GeoMol inclue dans les limites cantonales fribourgeoises, qui a été réalisée en collaboration avec l’Université de Fribourg.
