Microwave links
Directional radio is used in telecommunications to transmit information (telephony, data, images) between two points. High frequency radio waves (between 4 and 90 GHz) can be tightly collimated into a beam which is transmitted to the receiver using highly directional antenna (parabolic reflector). Directional radio systems are mounted at convenient locations to transmit over quasi-line of sight (no obstacles such as trees, houses, etc.).The illustration provides information though does not represent legally binding information regarding the licensed parameters. The displayed accuracy of the sites is limited to approx. 30 m.
