Zonen generelle Leinenpflicht gemäss § 27 der kantonalen Jagdverordnung. Hunde sind vom 1. April bis 31. Juli im Wald und näher als 50 m zum Waldrand an der Leine zu führen (weitere Einschränkungen in Schutzgebieten vorbehalten). Wiederhandlungen haben eine Ordnungsbusse in der Höhe von CHF 100.- zur Folge. Die Hundeleinenpflicht dient während der Brut- und Setzzeit dem Schutz der Wildtiere und ihrer Jungen. Durch freilaufende Hunde besonders gefährdet sind trächtige Rehe und ihre frisch gesetzten Kitze, junge Feldhasen, Füchse oder Dachse sowie am Boden brütende Vögel und ihre Gelege.
