Pro Natura Beteiligung an kantonalen Waldreservaten
Pro Natura beteiligt sich an der Sicherung kantonaler Waldreservate, insgesamt sind es 85 Gebiete mit einer Gesamtfläche von 4546 ha. Es handelt sich dabei um Wälder, die der Natur vollständig überlassen werden (Naturwaldreservate; MCPFE 1.1 und 1.2) oder wo traditionelle Nutzungsformen und gezielte Pflegeeingriffe zugunsten besonderer Waldlebensräume stattfinden (Sonderwaldreservate; MCPFE 1.3). Sie bilden die Grundlage für die Vielfalt der Lebensgemeinschaften mit zahlreichen Pilzen, Pflanzen und Tieren. Diese Flächen sind Teil der über 770 Pro Natura Naturschutzgebiete, in welchen auch weitere Lebensräume geschützt werden.
