Intensitätskarten
Intensitätskarten zeigen für verschiedene Eintretenswahrscheinlichkeiten (Häufigkeit) das jeweils zu erwartende Ausmass (Intensität) des Gefahrenprozesses auf.
Schwache Ereignisse treten häufig ein, starke Ereignisse sind naturgemäss seltener. Um diesem Grundgedanken gerecht zu werden, werden für jeden der vier Gefahrenprozesse (Wasser, Rutsch, Sturz, Lawinen) Intensitätskarten erstellt, je eine für die drei Eintretenswahrscheinlichkeiten (sehr selten, selten, häufig). Drei Grüntöne zeigen die Intensität (Heftigkeit) der Gefahr auf.
