Unter dem Begriff Ökomorphologie versteht man die strukturelle Ausprägung in den Fliessgewässern und deren Uferbereichen.<br>

Die Ökomorphologie beschreibt die Gestaltung des Lebensraums Bach. Eine ökomorphologische Beurteilung bewertet das Gewässer als Lebensraum für eine Vielzahl von Tieren und Pflanzen.
