Metallrohstoffe sind wirtschaftlich bedeutsame Ressourcen, die typischerweise aus metallhaltigen Mineralien gewonnen werden. Dieser Datensatz zeigt die Standorte, an denen in der Vergangenheit Metallrohstoffe in der Schweiz lokalisiert oder abgebaut wurden. Zurzeit werden in der Schweiz kommerziell keine Metallrohstoffe gewonnen. Aufgrund ihrer spezifischen chemischen, elektrischen oder magnetischen Eigenschaften werden Metallrohstoffe in verschiedenen industriellen Produktionsprozessen eingesetzt. Beispiele hierfür sind die Produktion von Metalllegierungen, Halbleitern (Chips), starken Permanentmagneten, hochleistungsfähigen Energiespeichersystemen und weiteren High-Tech-Komponenten. Einige Metallrohstoffe werden derzeit in der <a href=" https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/DE/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32024R1252" target="_blank">Europäischen Union</a> als kritische Rohstoffe (CRM) eingestuft, und manche gelten <a href=" https://api3.geo.admin.ch/featureattachments/ch.swisstopo.geologie-rohstoffe-industrieminerale/pdf/IRENA_NUPI_2024_Ranking_critical_materials_for_the_energy%20transition.pdf" target="_blank">als absolut notwendig</a> für die Energiewende. Mehrere Standorte in diesem Datensatz weisen auf eine Mineralisierung hin, die einen oder mehrere kritische Rohstoffe enthalten könnte. This dataset shows the sites where metallic raw materials have been located or mined in the past in Switzerland. Currently, no metallic raw materials are commercially exploited. Because of their specific chemical, electrical, or magnetic properties, metallic raw materials are used in various industrial production processes. Examples include the production of metal alloys, semiconductors (chips), strong permanent magnets, high-performance energy storage systems and other high-tech components.
