Metallrohstoffe sind wirtschaftlich bedeutsame Ressourcen, die typischerweise aus metallhaltigen Mineralien gewonnen werden. Dieser Datensatz zeigt die Standorte, an denen in der Vergangenheit Metallrohstoffe in der Schweiz lokalisiert oder abgebaut wurden. Zurzeit werden in der Schweiz kommerziell keine Metallrohstoffe gewonnen. Aufgrund ihrer spezifischen chemischen, elektrischen oder magnetischen Eigenschaften werden Metallrohstoffe in verschiedenen industriellen Produktionsprozessen eingesetzt. Mehrere Standorte in diesem Datensatz weisen auf eine Mineralisierung hin, die einen oder mehrere kritische Rohstoffe enthalten könnte. Metallic raw materials are resources of economic value that are typically sourced from metal-bearing minerals. This dataset shows the sites where metallic raw materials have been located or mined in the past in Switzerland. Currently, no metallic raw materials are commercially exploited. Because of their specific chemical, electrical, or magnetic properties, metallic raw materials are used in various industrial production processes. Examples include the production of metal alloys, semiconductors (chips), strong permanent magnets, high-performance energy storage systems and other high-tech components. Ce jeu de données montre les sites où des matières premières métalliques ont été localisées ou extraites dans le passé en Suisse. Actuellement, aucune matière première métallique n'est exploitée commercialement. En raison de leurs propriétés chimiques, électriques ou magnétiques spécifiques, les matières premières métalliques sont utilisées dans divers procédés de production industrielle. Parmi ces secteurs industriels, on peut citer la production d’alliages métalliques, de semi-conducteurs (chips), d'aimants permanents puissants, de systèmes de stockage d'énergie à haute performance et d'autres composants high-tech.
