Pflanzenschutzmittel sind Wirkstoffe, die Pflanzen vor Schädlingen schützen oder gezielt unerwünschte Pflanzen vernichten. Sie werden in der Landwirtschaft, aber auch in Grünanlagen und Privatgärten eingesetzt und können von dort ins Grundwasser gelangen. Gemäss Gewässerschutzverordnung GSchV soll im Grundwasser für Pflanzenschutzmittel-Wirkstoffe eine Konzentration von 0.1 Mikrogramm/l nicht überschritten werden. Die Konzentration verschiedener Pflanzenschutzmittel-Wirkstoffe und deren Abbauprodukte im Grundwasser der Schweiz wird auf Landesebene im Rahmen der Nationalen Grundwasserbeobachtung NAQUA erfasst. Für als relevant eingestufte Abbauprodukte gilt ebenfalls ein Anforderungswert von 0.1 Mikrogramm/l , während für nicht-relevante Abbauprodukte kein Anforderungswert festgelegt ist. Les produits phytosanitaires sont des produits chimiques qui protègent les végétaux des organismes nuisibles ou détruisent de façon ciblée certaines plantes indésirables. Ils sont employés en agriculture, mais aussi dans les espaces verts et les jardins privés, autant de sources potentielles de contamination des eaux souterraines. L’ordonnance sur la protection des eaux (OEaux) exige de respecter une concentration maximale de 0,1 microgrammes/l par substance dans les eaux souterraines. Plusieurs produits phytosanitaires font ainsi l’objet d’un suivi dans toute la Suisse par l’Observation nationale des eaux souterraines NAQUA. Le réseau de l’Observation nationale des eaux souterraines regroupe plus de 500 stations de mesure. Il est géré par la Confédération, en étroite collaboration avec les cantons. I prodotti fitosanitari sono sostanze attive che proteggono le piante contro organismi nocivi o che distruggono in modo mirato piante indesiderate. Tali sostanze sono impiegate sia nell’agricoltura che in giardini pubblici e privati, da dove possono finire nelle acque sotterranee. Secondo l’ordinanza sulla protezione delle acque (OPAc) le concentrazioni di prodotti fitosanitari nelle acque sotterranee non devono essere superiori allo 0,1 microgrammi/l. Le concentrazioni di diversi prodotti fitosanitari nelle acque sotterranee della Svizzera sono rilevate nell’ambito dell’Osservazione nazionale delle acque sotterranee NAQUA. La rete di misurazione è costituita da oltre 500 stazioni ed è gestita dall’UFAM in stretta collaborazione con i Cantoni. Plant protection products are chemicals that protect plants from pests or kill weeds. They are not only used in agriculture, but also in green spaces and private gardens, where they enter groundwater. Under the Waters Protection Ordinance (WPO), concentrations of plant protection products in groundwater should not exceed 0.1 micrograms/l .Concentrations of various plant protection products in Swiss groundwater are recorded as part of the NAQUA National Groundwater Monitoring program.
