Die vier neueren, methodisch einheitlichen und koordinierten Arealstatistiken bilden eine solide statistische Grundlage, um Phänomene und Trends des Landnutzungswandels und der Landschaftstransformation in der Schweiz qualitativ zu beschreiben und quantitativ abzuschätzen und diese auch sehr detailliert und zielgerichtet auf unterschiedlichste Fragestellungen zu analysieren.Arealstatistik der SchweizDie Arealstatistik der Schweiz bildet die Datengrundlage für eine Vielzahl von geokodierten, in Form von Geobasisdaten verfügbaren Angaben zum Zustand und zur Entwicklung der Bodennutzung und Bodenbedeckung der Schweiz. Ausserdem umfasst das BFS-Datenangebot auch einige wenige weitere, auf der Grundlage von Arealstatistikresultaten berechnete oder diese ergänzende Geobasisdaten zur Thematik der Nutzung, Bedeckung und Eignung des in unserem Land verfügbaren Bodens.
