Forêts protectrices
La carte des forêts protectrices 2025-2028 a été établie sur la base de critères de délimitation harmonisés sur l'ensemble de la Suisse. La Confédération et le canton de Vaud soutiennent l'entretien de ces forêts qui protègent la population, les biens et les infrastructures des dangers naturels tels que chutes de pierres, avalanches, glissements, crues, érosion etc. L'évaluation de la nécessité d'y intervenir et la détermination des soins sylvicoles à leur prodiguer se basent sur la publication "Gestion durable des forêts de protection", OFEV 2005.
