Betriebe mit mindestens 20 Aren Obstkulturen melden ihre Obstsorten jährlich zusammen mit der Betriebsstrukturdatenerhebung. Der Bund verwaltet die Angaben in Obst.ch. Die Angaben der Obstsortenerfassung dienen für statistische Zwecke und für Erntemengenschätzungen der aktuellen Jahre.
