SWISSIMAGE ist seit 1926 bis heute verfügbar. Bei allen Kacheln wird immer die Kachelnummer sowie das jeweilige Flugjahr angegeben. In den Randgebieten von Befliegungsblöcken kann es vorkommen, dass die Kacheln nicht mit Bildern eines Flugjahres abgedeckt werden können. Diese Kacheln weisen daher Pixel unterschiedlicher Flugjahre auf, wobei jeweils dasjenige Flugjahr attribuiert wird, das die Mehrheit der Pixel aufweist (mehr als 75% aller Pixel). Mit der Anzeige von Bildzeitständen, der sogenannten «Zeitreise», lässt sich die Einteilung von SWISSIMAGE ab 1926 bis heute interaktiv ermitteln.

SWISSIMAGE est disponible depuis 1926 à nos jours. Le numéro de tuile ainsi que l'année de vol sont définis pour toutes les tuiles et pour chaque année. Dans les zones situées à la limite entre différents blocs annuels, tous les pixels d'une tuile ne proviennent pas toujours d'une seule et même année de vol. En effet, pour créer une mosaïque uniforme, il est parfois nécessaire de mélanger des pixels issus de différents vols. Dans ce cas, l'année de vol utilisée en majorité (à plus de 75%) est attribuée à la tuile. Avec l'outil de représentation historique des données – nommé « voyage dans le temps » - l'évolution du découpage SWISSIMAGE de 1926 à nos jours peut être perçue de manière interactive.

Nelle regioni marginali dei blocchi sorvolati può accadere che i tasselli non siano coperti da foto di uno stesso anno di volo. Questi tasselli presentano pertanto pixel di anni di volo diversi. In questi casi viene attribuito l'anno di volo che presenta la maggior parte dei pixel (oltre il 75% di tutti i pixel). Con la visualizzazione storica dei dati – nominata «viaggio nel tempo» - l'evoluzione della Divisione SWISSIMAGE dal 1926 ad oggi può essere analizzata in maniera interattiva.

SWISSIMAGE is available from 1926 to the present. The tile number and the flight year is given for all tiles and for every year. At the edges of the surveying flight blocks, the tiles may not consist of pictures from the same year. As a result, these tiles contain pixels from different flight years. In these cases, the flight year that provided the majority of the pixels (more than 75% of all pixels) is given. The representation of data time stamps – called «journey through time» - allows to interactively explore the evolution of the SWISSIMAGE tiling from 1926 to the present.
