Schutzwald vor Naturgefahren

Schutzwald auf Basis des Projektes SilvaProtect-CH für die Prozesse "Lawine", "Sturz", "Hangmure / Rutschung", "gerinne-relevanten Prozesse" sowie der kantonalen Gefahrenhinweiskarte. Diese Ausscheidung entspricht den "harmonisierten Kriterien" des Bundes. Definition: „Ein Schutzwald ist ein Wald, der ein anerkanntes Schadenpotenzial gegen eine bestehende Naturgefahr schützen oder die damit verbundenen Risiken reduzieren kann.“ (SilvaProtect-CH 2013)

Kantonale Schutzwaldausscheidung auf Basis der vom Bund zur Verfügung gestellten Resultate von SilvaProtect-CH.

Es liegen Informationen darüber vor, in welchen Gebieten und zu welchem Anteil der Schutzwald vor welchen Gefahrenprozessen (Steinschlag, Rutschung, gerinnerelevante Prozesse) Schutz bietet. Ausserdem ist bekannt, wie gross der Anteil des Schutzwaldes ist, der bestimmte gefährdete Objektklassen (sogenannte Schadenpotenzialkategorien wie Strassen oder Gebäude) vor Naturgefahren schützt.
