Défrichements et compensations
Le défrichement est défini dans la loi sur les forêts :
« Par défrichement, on entend tout changement durable ou temporaire de l’affectation du sol forestier. » (art. 4 LFo)
Tout défrichement doit être compensé. La compensation du défrichement consiste en général en une compensation en nature (art. 8 OFo) dans la même région. Dans certains cas, il est possible de prendre des mesures en faveur de la protection de la nature et du paysage au lieu de fournir une compensation en nature. Dans des cas particuliers, il est possible de renoncer à la compensation du défrichement (art. 7 LFo). Un projet de défrichement peut combiner les formes de compensation susmentionnées.
La donnée comporte une couche d'entités points donnant des informations sur les décisions ainsi qu'une couche d'entités polygones géoréférençant les surfaces concernées.
