Die Gewässerschutzkarte ist das entscheidende Instrument des planerischen Gewässerschutzes und dient der nachhaltigen Bewirtschaftung der natürlichen Wasserressourcen. Das Kartenwerk setzt sich aus Daten zu den besonders gefährdeten Gewässerschutzbereichen, den Grundwasserschutzzonen und -arealen sowie zu Quellen und Grundwasserfasusngen zusammen.
