Abstract The Ski Tour Map serie «S» 1:50'000 is produced in cooperation with the SAC (Swiss Alpin Club). It is based on the National Map 1:50'000 and contains specific map content for snow sport (ski tour routes, wildlife sanctuary, bus lines, aerial cableways, slope angles steeper than 30°) in alpine and pre-alpine regions of Switzerland. On the reverse of the map is a route and mountain hut index as well as important telephone numbers and additional information on avalanches, technical literature on ski mountaineering, ski touring gears and son on. The perimeters of the sheets correspond with a few exceptions to the National Map 1:50'000. The map content is updated periodically in a cycle of approx. 6 years. The printed map is available folded and unfolded.
